    England scored two goals in the group stage, but got 7 points. The English play in defense: 1-0 against Croatia, 1-0 against the Czech Republic and 0-0 against Scotland.

    Italy was much easier. Turkey and Switzerland were defeated 3-0, the score was 1-0 against Wales.

    Eligible

    England finished first in a group with the Czech Republic, Kosovo, Bulgaria and Montenegro in qualifying for this European Championship. They won 7 matches in 8 matches. The Czech Republic was once stronger than England. Harry Kane also became the top scorer in the playoffs with 12 goals.

    Italy won all 10 matches in a group with Finland, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia and Liechtenstein. This resulted in a goal difference of +33.
