Switzerland and Wales started the European Championship with a 1-1 draw. Looking at the picture of the match, this result would be a relief, especially in Wales.
Former PSV Eindhoven player Ricardo Rodriguez started playing for the Swiss national team, while PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Yvonne Mfugo remained on the bench. Wales started with star players like Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale. Despite the necessary big names, it soon became clear that Wales had not come to Azerbaijan to make it a good match.

Remarkably, Wales did not change tactics after goals. National coach Robert Page’s team continued to defend and came out with difficulty. But fifteen minutes before time, the score fell 1-1. Joe Morell tossed the ball inside after a short corner kick and Moore headed the equalizer.
Shortly before the time, substitute Mario Gavranovic appeared to take care of the 1-2 result for Switzerland, but his goal was rejected after the VAR intervened for offside. For example, Switzerland and Wales started the European Championship with one point, which will make Wales especially happy with the match. Italy tops Group A after beating Turkey 3-0 yesterday.
