    JioFiber faces competition in broadband speed. While JioFiber continues to lead speed according to the Netflix ISP Index in March 2021, it has also been joined by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) such as AirtelXStream, ACT and Tata Sky who also offered an average speed of 3.6 Mbps. JioFIber has led the Netflix ISP charts for the past six months, introducing a new offer to give an additional 15-day and 30-day validity to their semi-annual and annual broadband plans.

    According to the streaming giant, the Netflix ISP Speed ​​Index is a measure of prime-time Netflix performance on designated Internet Service Providers (ISPs) around the world. Netflix also notes that the ISP Speed ​​Index is not a measure of the overall performance of services or other data that may be transmitted over the specified ISP’s network.

    Last year, Jio launched fiber optic broadband plans starting at 399 rupees after the work-at-home culture became the norm for people across the country. Other ISPs followed suit. AirtelXStream started offering unlimited internet and also started offering broadband subscriptions starting at Rs 399. Excitel also started offering subscriptions Rs. 399 with an annual subscription.

    Returning to Netflix ISP, JioFiber, Airtel, ACT, Tata Sky 7 Star Digital, Alliance Broadband, Excitel Broadband, GTPL, Hathway, SPECTRA, Syscon Infoway and YOU Broadband in second place with a speed of 3.2 Mbps.

    In third place on Netflix’s ISP Index, NXTDIGITAL’s One Broadband service was at 3 Mbps, followed by state telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), D-Vois and Tikona at 2.8 Mbps. MTNL was at the bottom of the 2.4 Mbps Internet Service Provider.

    Reaching the average country index, India ranked second at 3.2 Mbps, alongside Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, France, Greece, Italy, Paraguay, Poland, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago and Uruguay.

    It ranked first with an average speed of 3.4 Mbps in the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama. Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, South Korea.
