March 25, 2021 – The start of France’s youth was very disappointing for the European Under-21 Championship on Thursday evening, and the team is considered one of the candidates in the European Championship, but it could not beat Denmark in the opening match. The French lost 0-1.

On paper, Young France is participating in the European Championship with a very strong selection. Eleven beginning of the day consisted of a number of first-division players, in addition to players such as Jules Conde (Seville), Wesley Fofana (Leicester City), Matteo Guindozzi (Hertha Berlin) and Odson Edward (Celtic). However, the expectations that came with it were not fulfilled. The French fought for the opportunities and were unable to score.

The only goal in the match was FC Midtgeland’s Danish striker Anders Dreyer, who scored against Ajax in the Champions League this season. His goal in the 75th minute meant France had to start in the remaining two matches. Then Russia and Iceland are the two rivals.

    Russia U-21 – Iceland U-21 4-1
Russia, which the French will play against next Sunday, had shown itself earlier in the evening that it wanted to participate in this group. The tournament began with a big victory over Iceland. CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov played the lead, shooting from the penalty spot and then providing two more assists.

    Portugal U-21 – Croatia U-21 1-0
We already knew that Young Portugal had a good team to qualify for the European Championship. It was the only country that could make it difficult for the Dutch Juniors, and it even gave Erwin van de Loy’s team the only loss. Just like the Netherlands, it qualified with nine wins and one loss, although Orange’s goal difference was much better. Portugal also started the European Championship well, with a 1-0 victory over Croatia. Dominik Kotarski, the young Ajax goalkeeper, watched the Croatia national team from the bench.

    England U-21 – Switzerland U21 0-1
Just like France, England also fell painfully in the first match. With players like Emile Smith Rowe and Callum Hudson-Odoi, she lost 0-1 to Switzerland earlier today. By the way, the target was very unfortunate. Noni Madwiki sat on the bench, but he did not act on behalf of the English.
