China informed the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva that the detention centers lack medical facilities for the large number of refugees, migrants and asylum seekers residing there. Additionally, they are held for a very long time or sometimes indefinitely. And Reuters news agency quoted the story of the Chinese.

    Special

China’s concerns are somewhat striking, as the country itself has been accused of a flagrant violation of human rights. The global power will put the Uyghur Muslim community into “re-education camps”. China denies this, describing the camps as “training centers for learning to fight extremism.”

Australia should close all detention centers immediately and take steps to protect the rights of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers. China said on behalf of a number of countries that were not mentioned, according to Reuters.

In addition, the country insisted that Australia should allow transparent investigations into allegations of serious war crimes against them. An Australian investigation conducted in November of last year showed that between 2005 and 2016 Australian special forces killed 39 unarmed prisoners and civilians. This led to criticism from the Chinese angle.
