Donald Trump will deliver a speech at the annual Conservative Activism Conference (CPAC) in Orlando, Florida, on February 28. This is his first public appearance since leaving the White House.

Anonymous sources told Bloomberg and Reuters news agency that the former president will discuss the future of the Republican Party and the conservative movement. Trump is also expected to attack President Joe Biden’s new immigration policy.

Several members of the former Trump administration will speak at the conference, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former Housing Secretary Ben Carson, and Republican lawmakers. Thousands are expected to participate. The event moved from Washington, where it has been playing for decades, to Orlando.

Trump has been largely out of the public eye for the past month. Last week, the US Senate acquitted him in the impeachment measure. This week he is giving phone interviews to conservative broadcasters to talk about the death of conservative radio broadcaster Rush Limbaugh. During those interviews, he insisted on his unfounded allegations of election fraud by Democrats, prompting his supporters to attack Parliament House in January.
