Eight companies from Limburg will represent the Netherlands at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the coming days. This is the largest tech fair in the world.

The companies are part of a business mission that Prince Konstantin, Prince of Orange and Secretary of State Mona Keijsers is leading to the Technology and Innovation Expo, which will not take place this year in Las Vegas but is completely digitized due to the Coronavirus.

    Limburg contribution
These are i4Things (Roermond), ECO Wheat Straws (Maastricht Airport), CRDL (Maastricht), Knowtice (Margraten), COMPO Software (Margraten) and 8vance Matching Technologies (Venlo). The digital technology exhibition will be held from January 11-14. During these four days, companies will actually show what their products are capable of.

    The largest delegation
Prince Constantine is the foreman of TechLeap.nl, the former StartupDelta. This organization wants to help the most innovative Dutch start-up companies grow further. A total of 80 Dutch companies with innovative growth are participating in the technology fair. This is the largest Dutch delegation ever.

    breakthrough
CES is an annual gathering of nearly 170,000 companies and investors from nearly 160 countries. The Netherlands is participating in CES for the fifth time this year. Over the past four years, more than 200 Dutch companies have visited the stock exchange. For many of them, CES was a breakthrough. It is estimated that these companies have generated tens of millions of euros in sales and hundreds of high-quality jobs across the country since their accession.
