It was especially overwhelming as Blumhouse exaggerated its follow-up to the 2018 reboot as one of the best entries in the 40-year saga. Now, star Jamie Lee Curtis has explained how Kills It could have been a movie just in time for 2020 as it touches on one of the biggest events of the year.
While speaking on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle ShowCurtis spoke about something that has been provoked before, which is that this movie is not about Lowry’s personal trauma and more about the trauma felt in the city of Haddonfield, Illinois as a whole, where Michael Myers’ murderous actions affected locals in general, not just the Stroud family. Curtis explains that Kills It’s about what happens when a mob mentality takes control.
“[Halloween] 2018 was due to Laurie’s shock, wasn’t it?
