League of Legends: Riot Games allows 6,312 fans to watch the Worlds 2020 Finals live

Riot China confirmed on Saturday via its social media that 6,312 fans will be allowed to attend the 2020 League of Legends World Championship Grand Finals live at Pudong Stadium on October 31. The company has made clear that health and safety is a top priority, and to meet these prevention measures, it will require an ID card, certified withdrawals, clarification of qualifications, and a face certificate to select bystanders.

“Many esports fans want to encourage the teams and players they love,” Riot China said. “So after months of discussion, assessment of the current epidemic prevention conditions, and consultation with each division, on October 31, we will open the stadium for the finals with health and safety as a top priority.”

Final tickets will not be for sale and will be distributed through a draw. Applicants can try their luck through LPL.QQ.COM, the Chinese League of Legends client on PC, apply via the League of Legends app, or follow LPL League on WeChat on mobile. Foreign fans can also apply but there will be a 14-day quarantine period, so there may be difficulties attending the finals.

There will be neither an actual paper ticket nor an e-ticket. Entry will only be permitted through ID. Tickets may not be transferred or sold to other persons. If there are health problems during the examination at the scene of the accident, they will not be permitted to enter.
