A 21-year-old man from Ghent has been sentenced to 60 hours of community service for looting the account of the company he ran with his father. With the sum, a dirty 55,000 euros, he went to Dubai for two weeks where he threw the money away. He rented a Lamborghini, visited a prostitute and dined at the expensive Salt Bae. Now he has to pay back the money he consumed.
The young man ran a company in Ghent with his father. But this “together” was not true according to the son, because according to him only his father was dominant. Turns out the two don’t have a good relationship. , my father forced me to sign, but I actually had no idea what happened in the case. I just wandered there, I didn’t have a real job.”
The son was eventually expelled, but not without a final blow. He debited the company’s account at once: a total of about 55,800 euros. With this he paid off part of his debts with friends and bailiffs. But he took most of the money to Dubai. There he lived like a king for two weeks. He visited the world-famous Nusr-Et Steakhouse, run by epic internet company Salt Bae, rented a Lamborghini and lent it out.
The father went to court, after which a judge sentenced his son to 60 hours of community service for misusing company assets. “This is an appropriate punishment. In this way, he can make a constructive contribution to society and not expand his negative attitude in the future. The stolen amount must be returned to the young man.”
