All around 127 younger properly trained recruits joined Ladakh scouts at an attestation parade held on Saturday, June 13, at Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre (LSRC) in Leh.
Thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the ceremony was done with no any armed service or civil dignitaries or mothers and fathers of the recruits next all the norms and advisories issued by The Ministry of Household Affairs as effectively as by the Indian Army.
The attestation parade with appropriate social distancing in consonance with the maximum traditions of the Indian Military was reviewed by Col Rinchen Dorje, Commandant, LSRC.
The Youthful Soldiers, hailing from all locations of Ladakh, took oath in unison to provide the Nation. The Examining Officer congratulated them and urged them to devote their everyday living in service to the Nation as proud soldiers of the Indian Army. He exhorted the Youthful Soldiers to go on to strive challenging in pursuit of excellence in all spheres and just take a solemn vow to uphold the sovereignty of the Nation.
The younger Riflemen ended up awarded medals for their remarkable efficiency for the duration of schooling. It was in fact a happy minute for the recruits who hail from significantly flung places to sign up for the LADAKH SCOUTS Regiment as young soldiers.
