NH has revealed the eight acts and songs competing to represent Noord-Holland at the Regio Songfestival 2023.
North Holland is now being selected for the first edition of the Regio Songfestival. NH has announced the eight acts vying to make it to the live regional selection on October 26.
The eight works competing to represent North Holland are:
- Kimberly – Are you giving me everything?
- Jeroen Werdenberg – Together
- It’s calling – digital vocals
- Ninky – Nobody has anything
- Dean Presley – I can’t wait until summer
- Blouse – fixed
- Raines, Gayer and Uncle – Night Orchestra
- Emma Koning – I hope the lights come back on
You can vote now here for which artist you want to make it to the live final, voting will close on October 20. The three acts that receive the most audience votes will compete in the regional final.
Regional Eurovision Song Contest 2023
The Regio Eurovision Song Contest is being held for the first time this year between 13 regional broadcasters in the Netherlands. The competition, which will feature 13 artists, will take place in Utrecht at the Stadsschouwburg on 4 November from 20:30.
The competition is modeled on the Eurovision Song Contest, with RTV Utrecht hosting the first edition, with the winner of the 2023 contest hosting the 2024 edition. The songs will be performed in Dutch or in the language of their region. The winner will be determined by a public vote, a regional jury and a professional judging panel.
Each broadcaster can choose how to select their entry into the competition, and the following broadcasters will compete:
- Friesland – Omrup Frieslan
- Groningen – RTV Nord
- Drenthe – RTV Drenthe – Lisa Harms – “Tot de zun uut pour”
- Overijssel – RTV Oost
- Gelderland – Omrup Gelderland
- Utrecht – RTV Utrecht
- Flevoland – Amroob Flevoland – Abtin Salem – The song will be chosen internally
- North Holland – New Hampshire
- South Holland – Rijnmond
- South Holland – Amrup West
- Zealand – Omrup Zealand
- North Brabant
- Limburg – L1
