Prince Harry and Meghan Markle share the first photo of Lilibet
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned as senior members of the royal family nearly two years ago and moved to the United States. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, they have not been able to return to the UK as a family, although Harry made two short trips last year – one for his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral and the other to unveil a statue of Princess Diana with the prince. William. Meanwhile, Meghan and her son Archie haven’t set foot in the UK since moving here, and the couple’s daughter, Lilibit, has never been there.
Lillipet has yet to meet any of her father’s family members, including her grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla, and her grandmother the Queen.
Pod Save the Queen is hosted by Ann Gripper and features Royal Daily Mirror editor Russell Myers.
Myers noted that Harry will travel to Northern Europe this year for the Invictus Games, which are due to take place between May 29 and June 5.
The games, founded by Harry himself, see how soldiers, victims, and veterans compete in adaptive sports.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expected to return to the UK in the spring
Prince Harry speaks with athletes at Invictus Games
It was originally supposed to take place in The Hague in 2020, but due to COVID-19, the event has been postponed twice.
If the Games continue this year – and need not be postponed again – there will be a crossover in the dates with the Queen’s Platinum Anniversary Holiday, which Sussex is expected to attend.
Myers argued that if Harry were in Europe, he would likely visit his family.
Furthermore, Meghan and the children are expected to attend the Invictus Games, which means they will likely accompany Harry to the UK.

Mr Myers said: “It’s been a busy year and would probably be a good time to let this one pass and see what happens in the new year and I hope to see them back in the UK.
Because Harry got the Invictus Games, fingers crossed [in May/June], so one might assume he’d go back to see his family.
And again, you might assume Meghan would take the kids to the Invictus Games, too.
‘So I think it’s good to say we’ll be able to see them in the spring of next year. But who knows?’

When Meghan and Harry first stepped down from their royal roles, they said they would split their time between the UK and North America.
However, because their decision came when the pandemic rocked the world, they weren’t able to travel as freely as they probably would have liked.
This means they spent 100 percent of their time in California instead of splitting.
However, as the world learns to deal with Covid and travel restrictions with ease, they are also expected to spend more and more time in the UK.
The public criticized Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
In the meantime, they worked on a whole range of projects.
As part of a £100m deal with Netflix, Harry has been working on a behind-the-scenes documentary series about the Invictus Games called The Heart of Invictus.
The Duke has starred in front of and behind the camera, and took the opportunity to highlight the incredible work of the charity and some of the inspiring athletes involved.
Megan was working on a children’s animated series called Pearl, which she co-created with David Furnish, husband of Sir Elton John.
Sir Elton’s relationship with Princess Diana was well known and she remained very protective of her children, going so far as to publicly defend Harry against criticism for his use of his private jet.
