ITF Monastir: Fisher qualifies for the double final, eliminating in the singles


ELST Tennis player Stephanie Fischer of Elst has reached the doubles finals of the ITF Championship in Monastir with Eva Feder. In the semi-finals, Gozal Ayedeno (Kazakhstan) and Dasha Ivanova (USA) retired.

Fisher and Werder won the first set 6-2. After that, opponents threw the towel.

Emma Dyce (USA) and Erika Sima (Japan) were waiting for the semifinals. Fisher and Feder took first place in Tunisia.

The Dutch duo were still very strong for Francisco Dildera and Daniele Wiesmann in the quarter-finals. The Italian / Latvian duo lost 2-0 in groups to Fisher and Feder: 6-1, 6-4.

Singles ready

Fisher was eliminated from the singles in the second round. Against Finnish Anastasia Kulikova, she lost in two sets, 6-1, 6-4.
