In the Swiss city of Nyon, the draw for the eighth final matches of the European League was held on Friday afternoon. Ajax, who was way too strong for Lille OSC in the second round, has been linked with Young Boys from Switzerland. However, more attractive posters were released during the draw. For example, Roma play against the always difficult Shaktar Donetsk, and Manchester United face Milan in a duo, which is an interesting draw, especially for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The eighth final matches of the second European championship will be held on Thursday 11 and 18 March.
Ibrahimovic played for Manchester United between mid-2016 and March 2018, and considered the 2017 European League at the expense of Ajax as the highlight of his English period. Rick Karsdorp will deal with Roma with Shachir Donetsk, who reached the semi-finals of the European League last season.
