A tanker truck has exploded on a highway in southeastern China, killing 18 people and injuring at minimum 189 other folks, authorities mentioned on Sunday, June 14.
The tanker exploded in close proximity to a village in the Wenling segment of the Shenyang-Haikou Expressway on Saturday night, Xinhua information company.
The explosion triggered substantial destruction to nearby properties. A single image showed firefighters hosing down a row of structures with blown-out facades very well into the night. A next blast took spot when the blown-up truck fell onto a workshop around the expressway. The explosions prompted the residential properties and factory workshops to collapse.
