The weekend has started again, so it’s time to have fun. As usual, this week we will be listing the best football weekend broadcasts. Football is played on Saturday and Sunday, so you can count on some fun matches.
Saturday 4th September
The Eredivisie is getting a weekend of rest this week, and that of course has to do with international football which is in full swing. After all, the 2022 World Cup qualifiers are being played and this means, among other things, the entry into force of the Dutch national team.
A selection of the best broadcasts from September 4th below:
5.50pm on Ziggo Sport Football: World Cup 2022 Qualifiers: Latvia – Norway, 8.20pm on NPO 1: NOS World Cup Qualification 2022: Netherlands v Montenegro, 8.35pm on Ziggo Sport: 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Ukraine – France
Saturday is also the evening the Netherlands will start work, but it is not the match we start with today. This honor goes to Latvia and Norway. The two countries play early in the evening at 6pm. This is exactly a match that you can watch.
Holland is coming up on Saturday evening. Louis van Gaal Orange will meet Montenegro. The Netherlands should win this match in principle if Orange is to qualify directly for the 2022 World Cup. After all, it was a draw with Norway.
After all, Norway and the Netherlands competed against each other earlier this week. The score (1-1) ensures that the Netherlands are slowly but surely forced to win because otherwise they are simply not allowed to travel to Qatar.
Finally, it is also the night that Ukraine and France will face each other. The French are doing well in qualifying so far, and the team that should now go without Mbappe (who was injured) should have no problems against Ukraine. After all, the French are at the top of the standings and hope to increase that distance against direct competitor Ukraine.
Sunday 5 September
After a beautiful Saturday, Sunday is also a great day for football fans. The World Cup qualifiers process again on the program.
