Before Ash looks great if you ignore the trailer

Before Ash looks great if you ignore the trailer

An introduction to popular 2019 The rest: from the ashes Next – if you can get past THQ Nordic’s shocking trailer ad.

it’s called Chronos: Before the Ash, Based on the VR 2016 game with a similar name, and slated to be a precursor to The rest: from the ashes.

In an RPG you’ll see as a young explorer who sets out to save his home from an ancient evil. To do this, the hero must enter a maze and fight monsters and creatures that want to kill you along the way.

This is a very standard story for a bunch of video games but what sets it apart is that every time you die, you have to enter the maze again and it’s a year old. It’s not entirely clear how this affects gameplay but the release information indicates that the older you get, the more wise you need to be about magic. Presumably, this means you don’t want to die too much if you can avoid it.

THQ Nordic has announced the upcoming arrival of the game with a trailer that appears to do the opposite of what it’s supposed to do:

The roughly two-minute trailer was shown in the 1980s and includes a realistic teen – a red flag for any video game trailer – who can’t wait to get back in the game. It is probably one of the worst trailers I have seen.

Luckily, at the glimpses of the gameplay that you see, the game looks beautiful.

The release of the game will be welcome news for anyone who missed playing 2016 Chronos, Exclusively on Oculus Rift VR.

Chronos: Before the Ash It will be released on December 1st on PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Hopefully long enough to forget that tracking exists.
