Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S hits the market in 2021

Samsung is said to be developing the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S, which will rival Microsoft Surface Duo in overall look and function.

This year has been significant for Samsung. Despite the epidemic, they are still doing everything in their plans. Thankfully, the turnout for its launch was huge. The company has managed to flood the market with products that range from affordable to excellent and even super premium.

The latest phone released is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. While the price is high, the company expects it to come out with the foldable part. They don’t stop there. Rather, they want to push the envelope further.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S arrives on the market in 2021

SamMobile reports that Samsung is working on a new foldable called the Z Fold S. The mechanism will be completely different to the Z Fold 2. Instead of just opening completely flat, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold S will have a hinge that can rotate 360 degrees. In other words, her eyes are focused on dislodging Microsoft Surface Duo.

No further details were disclosed about the phone. However, Samsung’s new foldable phone is expected to be on par with the Galaxy Z Fold 2. There is also no news about whether or not the new foldable phone will have an external display.

Additionally, Samsung appears to have hit a dead end in capitalizing on this new market. Apple still hasn’t made hints about foldable technology. Therefore, Samsung can easily dominate the market due to having few competitors. They are claimed to be working on a cheaper mid-range model that caters to a wider audience.

Fight the foldable market sector

Samsung’s only huge discount at foldable is Microsoft. While it is true that Xiaomi and Huawei have foldable phones of their own, only Samsung and Microsoft have a wide range.

Additionally, Huawei has been hampered by the US ban on the company. Xiaomi, on the other hand, remains a company that has a niche market in specific countries.

As such, Samsung only has Microsoft on its way to significant market share. Microsoft Surface Duo will only be available in the US starting September 10. Unfortunately, it won’t be available anywhere else in the world until 2021. This news comes as a sad update for Microsoft fans.

If Samsung really pushes for the new foldable phone, it can instantly take over Microsoft’s global underserved customers.
