KAMPERVEEN – MJC Yamaha's Danny Heitink managed to limit the damage during the penultimate race of the EMX125 Championship in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. The week before the competition, Danny had fallen during practice and injured his shoulder. This made it difficult to make the decision to travel to Switzerland. With good perseverance, Heitink eventually managed to score sixteen important points.

In the first moto Heitink managed to get a good start and entered the first corner in about 5th place. Heitink tried to ride with the boys in front of him, but it wasn't possible due to the pain in his shoulder. During the race he lost positions but tried to limit the damage and managed to finish 15th.

In the second heat the conditions were completely different. Due to the rain overnight from Saturday to Sunday, it was very muddy and slippery. Heitink got a very good start and was able to start the race in the leading group. Unfortunately, he crashed on the first lap and dropped to 36th place. With a good pace, he got back to 10th place during the race, but unfortunately suffered another setback. He fell and it took him another minute before he could continue on his way. As a result, Heitink dropped to 15th place, but he continued to fight for what he deserved and managed to finish 11th.

In the daily classification, Heitink is in tenth place and remains in sixth place in the standings. Heitink will now take some rest to allow his shoulder to recover. The next competition for the Cross Rider from Kamperveen will be decided in three weeks.
