Collins Al-Jamisi, the Kenyan who has killed 42 women since 2022, including his wife, has escaped.
He disappeared from a police cell in the capital, Nairobi, along with twelve other prisoners.
Police describe the 33-year-old Al-Jumaisi as mentally unstable. He killed his wife in 2022 and killed more women in subsequent years.

The man was arrested more than a month ago after his body parts were found in a garbage dump about 100 metres from the police station.
Al-Jumaisi was told on Friday that he would remain in custody for another 30 days as police investigations continue.
Police found phones and identity cards in his home. A machete that was probably used to cut the victims into pieces was also found.
