It's all possible in the Instagram-worthy Sara's Sweets lunchroom, but soon that won't be the case anymore. The business will soon be closing for good. “Unfortunately, it's no longer financially viable to continue,” Sara van der Woude told the Zwolle district.

Sarah has been the owner of the business since early 2023, where Corners Cake was formerly located. Sarah's dream has always been to become a baker, as she shared on social media at the time.
Sara Sweets Stops
Eighteen months later, Sarah closed her lunchroom. “Work has been quieter in recent months so I have decided to close the actual lunchroom. Although I really enjoy this work, it is no longer possible for me. First, I am taking time to relax after this amazing adventure. What comes next, only the future will tell,” the owner shares on social media.
Sarah won't be baking cakes and other sweets for sale for now. “I currently live too small to be able to operate from home. Once I live in a bigger place, I definitely plan to make custom cakes again,” Indeboert says.
Stock must be sold out
Sunday, July 21st is the last day that Sara's Sweets on Sassenstraat is open. “We hope to see many of you in the coming weeks, because all our stock has to be used up!”
