“Big Boy” Rozenstruik on August 17 in Perth, Australia, in the ring against Australian Tai Tuivasa – Dagblad Suriname

Jairzinho 'Bigi Boy' Rozenstruik can prepare for his next fight on Saturday, August 17 in Perth, Australia during UFC 305. His opponent is Australian knockout specialist Tai Tuivasa. Confirmation of this fight comes from Tuivasa in a YouTube vlog of light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira, according to Martialsportinfo.nl and en sportnieuws.nl. The fight is now being announced here and there on social media and also by “Bigi Boy” himself on his social media pages:

Tuivasa's UFC career has been full of successes and setbacks. After a three-match winning streak, it was followed by a three-game losing streak. Tuivasa then rebounded with five straight wins, earning him an interim title fight against Ciryl Gane. After losing to Gane, Tuivasa lost three more fights, all by stunning knockouts.

With his UFC career potentially on the line, a win for Tuivasa in Perth is crucial. In total, 31-year-old Bam Bam Tuivasa has fourteen wins and seven losses in his young career.

Rozenstruik won his final match in March against then-undefeated Shamil Gaziev. In that match, Big Boy had to defend his ranking, as he had a number of losses on his record before that. For example, he lost to Curtis Blaydes, Alexander Volkov, and Jelton Almeida, while he managed to beat Chris Dukaus.

Tuivasa also has a real brand in the UFC; The shoe. If he wins, the Australian heavyweight boxer steps into the cage and is handed a random pair of shoes. Tuivasa fills it with beer and then drinks it to the loud cheers of the audience. Of course it would, if it was up to Bigi Boy. In August in Perth, Australia, that won't happen.
