Police in the British county of Surrey deliberately hit a cow twice last night. The animal was running loose and is said to have endangered the safety of local residents. After several attempts to arrest the cow, the police decided to run over the animal.

According to the police, the cow ran through several main streets in the town of Staines, southwest of the British capital, London.

“We received several calls from local residents about the cow damaging a car and running toward people,” police wrote. In the current situation. The officers are therefore said to have been very concerned about the safety of local residents.

In the hours that followed, police said they made several attempts to safely capture the animal. Just no results.
