A YouTuber in the US is facing 10 years in prison for launching fireworks at a sports car. He posted an 11-minute video on his account last July.

The video shows two women launching fireworks from a helicopter at a Lamborghini. The video was titled “Destroying a Lamborghini with Fireworks”, but it is no longer available.

    Injuries occurred

The video also shows how it is made, and this is where the suspect, Alex Choi, comes into the picture. He also refers to himself in the video and how he directs the video. His account contains many videos in which fast cars play a leading role.

No one was injured in the operation, but that did not prevent the prosecutor from seeking a 10-year prison sentence against Choi. He is accused of planting explosives and incendiary materials near the helicopter.

    No license

Choi is being charged not only because he caused extremely dangerous situations, but also because he did not have permits to film.

They are also said to be illegal fireworks purchased in Las Vegas, while the video was likely recorded in San Bernardino County in California.
