    Life is good at that Nendaz And Visonaz. Winter sports enthusiasts have been visiting Nendaz and Vessonaz for years because of the good snow conditions and kilometers of slopes, but you can also have a lot of fun in the area outside of the winter sports season.



    The best activities in Nendaz and Vessonaz

    Winter sports enthusiasts are experiencing their best winters in years in the cities of Nendaz and Vesonnaz in the Swiss region of Valais. It is located in the heart of the Four Valleés region, the largest ski area in Switzerland. Read: 410 km of slopes and you can enjoy good snow conditions until April. But did you know that in summer you can also enjoy a wonderful holiday in Nendaz and Vessonaz?

    Enjoy the view from Mont Fort

    If you are at one of the high points in Switzerland, it is natural that you would want to enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. You are in the right place at the top of the legendary Mont Fort. From the new viewing platform – at an altitude of 3,300 meters – you can see the mountain peaks in 360 degrees.

    Climbing Rosablanche

    Do you want to experience altitude optimally? Then climb the mountain of the same name, which is 3,336 meters high, during the “Dare the Rosablanche” experience. The two-day experience takes you on the first day to a Saint Laurent hut perched above the beautiful turquoise Lake Cleusson. The next day, you will continue your ascent to Rosablanche – of course accompanied by a guide.

    A relaxing yoga walk through the Magrappé Forest

    Do you want to relax in beautiful surroundings? Then walk with a yoga teacher Anthony Saez. With a small group (maximum ten people) you will take a harmonious walk through the beautiful Magrappé Forest in July and August, stopping at beautiful locations for relaxing yoga exercises. You will walk along the Bisse de Vex River, a beautiful mountain stream.

    Explore the area by ebike

    Veysonnaz is too large to be discovered on foot alone. Explore the area on an e-bike tour. The bike tour begins with a gondola ride and ends with a three-course lunch. The two of you are cycling through the picturesque mountains.

    Go on a bisses tour

    We've already mentioned the Pice des Fixes, but did you know that Nendaz and Vessonaz are rich in many of these dreamy mountain streams? There is a whole network of hiking trails along the Becis region that pass through forests, along mountains and through pretty villages. Many walking trails along the way are already open. Some of our favorites: Walking along the Bisse de Chervé, Bisse de Saxon and Bisse de Salins.

    Where to eat

    Whether you've had a relaxing or active day, it's of course best to end your day with a good meal. Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants in Nendaz and Visonnaz where you can enjoy a delicious meal.

    Dine as if you were sitting in someone's chalet, with a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. It is possible at Table d'hôte La Montagne. You can also enjoy delicious food there. From the raclette dishes that Switzerland is famous for, to meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

    Verrey, a very small town outside Veysonnaz, is also worth a visit. The centuries-old wooden buildings and stunning views make it worth it. In one of these old wooden houses you will find Café Buvette La Cab'Anne, where you can enjoy a delicious slice of home-baked cake on the sunny terrace.
