Previously, it was only possible to interact using emojis or stickers. However, it is also included in the chat with the person or contact in question, which can become quite confusing, especially for very active users. On the other hand, the new Like function is only noticed in the status screen.

Another important feature of WhatsApp's new feature, especially for security enthusiasts, is the fact that Like Status is compatible with end-to-end encryption. This means that the quick reaction cannot be recognized by any third party or saved in any way.
