President Joe Biden also won the second Democratic primary by a wide margin on Tuesday evening. According to the news agency AP The incumbent president won the Nevada primary with nearly 90 percent of the vote.

Biden hopes to be re-elected as President of the United States later this year. To do this, he must first win his party's nomination. But this is just a formality. The Democratic Party insists on the current president's participation in the elections.

In addition, Biden faces little real competition. Although about a dozen candidates participated in the Nevada primary, most received less than half a percent of the vote.

Author and self-help expert Marianne Williamson received 2.7 percent of the vote. Nearly 6 percent of the votes went to the “none of these candidates” option. Congressman Dean Phillips, who along with Williamson are seen as the only “serious” opponents, did not participate in the Nevada primary.

Biden is thus the top presidential candidate of the Democratic Party, but that does not mean that there is no discontent about his candidacy. Many Democrats criticize his foreign policy and Biden's campaign has not yet gotten off to a good start.
