In Morocco, administrative sanctions were imposed on many teachers by the regional branches of the Ministry of National Education due to their ongoing protests against the new public situation.

These violations are considered serious from the point of view of the regional directorates, in line with Article 73 of the General Regulations for Public Service. For this reason, the temporary suspension is accompanied by the suspension of salary, with the exception of family allowances. The situation of the teachers involved will be analyzed by a disciplinary board before the punishment is lifted within a maximum period of four months.

After this period, the official can receive his full salary again, even if the council does not take a decision against him.
