Another officer involved was found dead

Last month, a police officer who was under investigation in connection with the drama was found dead. He worked at the police station that oversaw the recreational area where the drama broke out and is said to have ordered an intelligence report with warnings of his disappearance.

More than 100,000 people had gathered in the area on Oct. 29 to celebrate Halloween since the coronavirus pandemic. The local authorities and the police did not take any measures for such a large crowd.

Hours before the disaster, eleven emergency calls were received regarding the dangerous crowds, but no significant action was taken. Most of those who died in the tribulation were young women, a number of teenagers, and more than twenty foreigners.
