AMD and Caseking have teamed up on a custom PC inspired by Halo: Infinite. We have been working on the mod for more than half a year, which is estimated to have consumed thousands of hours. The project is shown in a video.

AMD and Caseking recently revealed a new project the two companies have been working on since the beginning of the year. AMD had the idea of a custom PC built into Halo: Infinite and brought the experts from Caseking on board. The team took inspiration from the game, including the curved screen symbolizing Ring fixtures.

The team’s plan was to create a computer that wasn’t immediately obvious as a computer. Case modification and project brainstorming are described in a video. The first thing to do is the huge screen in the case. For this, the device is completely disassembled and framed in design. Other parts of the project have been adapted to the screen size.

The team considered building the mod’s body out of steel. However, as it would have been too heavy, MDF wood was used, which was cut to the correct dimensions with a laser cutter. A later Berlin artist gave the structure the typical halo design. All parts have been hand painted for this purpose.

Since it is also meant to be a gaming PC, it is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X and Radeon RX 6900 XT on the mainboard. Asus ROG Strix X570-I is installed. In addition, the model has a custom water cooling system, which is also inspired by alien structures from the game. An illuminated bracket visible from the front connects the graphics card and the CPU cooler.
