    Recently, Volkswagen also recommended its brand subsidiaries such as Audi, Porsche, Skoda and Seat to “pause their paid activities on the platform until further notice”.

    US pharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences has also joined the ad boycott. The German company Allianz also no longer wants to use the social network Twitter “for advertising activities at this time”.

    Musk recently acknowledged that Twitter has suffered a “massive” drop in revenue since taking the $44 billion helm.
