Dylan van Barley is part of the INEOS Grenadiers Tour de France team. The British cycling team will take three riders in the rankings with Geraint Thomas, Adam Yates and Daniel Martinez.

This will be the seventh time that Van Barel has ridden the Tour de France. The thirty-year-old Dutchman has already made an impression this season by writing Paris-Roubaix in his name. He never won a stage on a grand tour.

With Thomas Yates and Martinez, INEOS goes to the tour without an outright leader. Thomas, 36, won the 2018 Tour de France and was recently the best in the Tour de Suisse.

The 29-year-old came down on the Tour of Switzerland earlier this month due to a positive coronavirus test, but he can participate in the Tour. The 26-year-old Martinez won the Basque Country Tour of the Year.

Two-time world trial champion Filippo Gana and Tom Bidcock are on the cusp of his Tour de France debut. Jonathan Castrovigo and Luke Rowe rounded out the eight-man roster. Michal Kwiatkowski is missing due to a muscle rupture.

The Tour de France kicks off Friday with a 13.2km time attempt in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, a stage specifically designed for Specialized Ganna. The most important grand tour of the year runs through July 24.
