Putin’s bloody invasion of Ukraine has been going on for more than two weeks.

Now the head of the Kremlin claims that the largest nuclear power plant in Europe is in Zaporizhia on the Dnieper River!

► According to the Ukrainian operator Energoatom, Russia has informed employees of the power plant, which has already been occupied by Russian forces, that it is now owned by the Russian state-owned company Rosatom.

Russian forces captured the power plant on March 4. Since then, the reactor’s crew has had to continue operating it. A dangerous situation, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where workers in their high-risk occupation usually have to be replaced regularly to ensure the safety of the company.

Worrying: The Zaporizhia nuclear power plant has been damaged since the fighting.

When Russian forces attacked the site in early March, a fire broke out at the nuclear power plant. Since then, two of the five power cables supplying the power plant and one transformer have failed.

The International Atomic Energy Agency also said on Wednesday that it had lost direct contact with the power plant in Ukraine.
