Dervinio D. (19) confessed to the police, but was released.

The 19-year-old suspect Dervinio D., who was previously arrested for theft at KFC Lalla Rookhweg and was accidentally released by the police on Thursday 14 October, was arrested again last night after nearly 3 weeks.

After the theft, Dervinio was identified as a suspect based on camera photos from the company. During the investigation, the police summoned him for questioning. Dervinio was taken to the police station by his mother, who is herself a NCO in the Suriname Police Force, and father.

On the basis of the research, Iseah S. also appeared in the photo. The two young men eventually confessed and were taken into custody after being brought to trial. Remarkably, Dervinio was accidentally released by law exactly one week after the theft.

The Public Prosecution issued an arrest warrant for Dr. He was arrested around 7 p.m. Wednesday at his father’s home, where he was supposed to be hiding. Dervinio was captured by Paramaribo Regional Assistance Team (RBTP) on behalf of the assistant officer.

Last week, the RBTP also arrested a third suspect in cooperation with the Paramaribo Criminal Investigation Department. Wendell B. The 20-year-old pleaded guilty to the robbery on Friday, October 29.
