Milton Glaser, the influential American graphic designer who created the “I ♥ NY” brand, has died aged 91.

Built for a 1977 tourism campaign, the brand rapidly gained recognition throughout the planet and has been explained as the most routinely imitated in background.

Glaser was born in the Bronx borough of New York Town in 1929. He analyzed at the Cooper Union for the Progression of Science and Artwork, a higher education in Manhattan, and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy.

In 1954, Glaser established up Thrust Pin Studios with three Cooper Union classmates and helped convey a new visible language to business artwork, looking for inspiration from every little thing from Art Nouveau to Chinese clean drawing, German woodcuts, and the cartoons of the 1930s.
