Aerial photos on Google and list maps might not always be the most recent. On the other hand, you can find the most recent ones on the GIS portals for suppliers. This applies, for example, to the cartographic company TopGis in Brno, which for many years has been providing documents, for example, to Seznam, which it has joined in the past in addition to property.
You can find the current situation on chytemapy.cz, and there is good news for TopGis, especially for residents of the central part of the Czech Republic. These areas were his last update on his maps.
From July to last September, two TopGis Cessna 404 and Partenavia P68 captured images of the area spanning more than 26,000 square kilometers.

“In total, there were twenty thousand new photos. Thanks to the fact that the images have a resolution of 12.5 cm per pixel, they also display interesting details, such as various engravings in landscapes. After all, people often make them in relation to our photography. With which they want to register themselves in the face of our country for a while, ”said Drahomira Zednischkova, TopGis CEO.
