Trump lags in the Pennsylvania polls before the first debate
Donald Trump continues to track Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden in nationwide and state polls as the couple prepares for a showdown in tonight’s first televised debate of the campaign.
The president was nine points behind his opponent in two Pennsylvania state polls published last night, one from right Now/ Siena College and the other from Washington Post/ ABC.
The former saw Biden rise 49 percent to 40 percent, while the latter got him a 54 percent to 44 percent lead over Trump.
The President had hoped to get a boost in response to his drive to install Conservative Circuit Court judge Amy Connie Barrett on the Supreme Court to succeed the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but such an outcrop has yet to materialize.
