    For a long time there has been talk about the possibility of Michael Andretti taking over the Alfa Romeo team run by Sauber. The deal was confirmed in October, but Andretti said it was close.

    Just before the US Grand Prix, it looked as if Andretti and Sauber were going to announce that this takeover would take place until talks were abruptly called off. Adds American racer He admits that he still has a lot of interest, and therefore is disappointed that it did not work out.
