    The basics in brief

    • Google Search and Google Maps encountered technical problems on Tuesday evening.
    • Several users, especially in the US, reported that they were unable to access the platforms.

Google LLC search engine shutdown Tuesday night. DownDetector.com announced on Twitter that tens of thousands of users are experiencing problems with Google and Google Maps.

In the US, more than 40,000 users have experienced complications with Google. Many reports came from New York and Denver in particular.

According to DownDetector, crash reports came back a few hours later. However, other users have reported problems with Google LLC. Google Cloud services and Google Calendar are particularly affected.

On Twitter, users posted screenshots of error messages from the Google search engine indicating a server problem. “We are aware of a software update issue” affecting Google Search and Google Maps. The company announced this and apologized to its users for the “inconvenience”. “We tried to solve the problem quickly, and now our services are back online,” the group confirmed.
