UPLAY + has officially been renamed Ubisoft +, and the change will also see the video game subscription service expand to multiple platforms. The service is currently available on PC, but starting next month, Amazon Luna beta participants will be able to pair their Ubisoft + account with Luna. By the end of the year, Google Stadia players will also be able to link their accounts, even if they don’t have a Stadia Pro subscription. Ubisoft + subscription costs $ 14.99 per month, giving subscribers access to over 100 titles. In a press release, Alexia Brume of Ubisoft discussed the changes.

“With Ubisoft +, our vision is to provide more options for our players to access their favorite Ubisoft games, wherever and whenever they want,” said Broome. “This trial period with Stadia and Amazon Luna is only the beginning. We are excited to offer subscribers the opportunity to check out premium releases from our Fall collection so they can follow and play across multiple platforms, all with one subscription.”

Currently, Ubisoft + is only available on PCs, but it remains to be seen whether or not the service expansion will eventually include consoles. When the service expands to Luna and Stadia, Ubisoft + will allow cross-platform advances for some titles, including killer Dogma Valhalla in the first day. The service will feature a mixture of new releases such as Immortals Phoenix Rising And the Watch Dogs: LegionAnd older content, such as Rayman Legends And the Beyond good and bad.

It will be interesting to see if gamers embrace the concept of services like Ubisoft + or not. The sign-up model will likely save players a lot of money, but some will likely want to avoid paying multiple subscription fees. So far, Google Stadia has struggled to make an impact, but Luna may find more success, and both can benefit greatly from partnering with Ubisoft +. At the very least, it will have a huge impact on the number of games available for both services!

Ubisoft + subscribers will be able to link to their Amazon Luna accounts starting November 10. More information about the service can be found here.
