Military bridges became a routine pre-match routine in the NFL.
But there was nothing routine about the Upper Bridge before Sunday’s Green Bay Packers-Tampa Bay Buccaneers match.
With planes soaring over Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Fox announcers Troy Aikman and Joe Buck gave this short, humorous on-air dialogue that drew some criticism.

“That’s a lot of jet fuel just for the sake of taking a little flight,” said Aikman.
“That’s your hard-earned money and tax money in the business,” Buck said.
“These things don’t happen to Camila [Harris]-[Joe] Biden ticket, I’ll tell you that now partner, “Ekman said.
On Tuesday, Aikman, a former Cowboys Hall of Fame player, took to Twitter to respond to criticism of his comments.

“I love the upper bridge, but it was strange to see one on a mostly empty stadium, but my country is unwavering. I love this country, and our flag has always been respected, and the support of men and women in the armed forces as well as those in uniform,” said Aikman “For anyone who suggests otherwise does not know me or my beliefs or what I have advocated for my entire life.”
It is not clear how much the upper bridge cost on Sunday. However, Washington Post It was reported in April that a fighter squadron had a cost of at least $ 60,000 an hour.
