Update (Friday, September 18, 2020 01:15 GMT): First update for Super Mario 3D All-Star Has arrived. As expected, version 1.0.1 contains some fixes and modifications.

One sorts the screen when co-star mode is turned on Super Mario Galaxy Other fixes are “some bugs” to make the experience more comfortable but do not specify exactly what was resolved. Here are the full patch notes (thanks, Nintendo Everything):

    Version 1.0.1 – Released September 18, 2020

    – Screen Repair / Adjustment in Super Mario Galaxy when playing in Co-Star Mode.
    – In order to let you play the game more comfortably, we have also fixed some issues.

Have you updated your copy of Super Mario 3D All-Stars to version 1.0.1 yet? Did you notice anything else? Let us know below.

Original article (Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 05:30 GMT): Like it or not, day one updates have become standard practice for many users Pioneer Video game releases in recent years. Even Nintendo’s 3-in-1 Anniversary Collection Super Mario 3D All-Star Users will be asked to update it when it launches on Friday.

This info comes via GoNintendo, which also notes how this patch raises the game to version 1.0.1:

“We are not quite sure what the update does, as the patch notes have yet to be shared. We know it is raising the game to version 1.0.1.”

Although you should be able to play the game as soon as you take it out of the box, you still want to update to this latest version. Our guess is some small bug fixes here and there to slightly improve the overall experience.

In other words, don’t expect this to be corrected Super Mario Galaxy 2 – Although we all support it (if you’re reading, Nintendo).
