Most fans can’t get enough of Ewan McGregor as a Jedi. The new hit series on Disney+ is very popular. However, there are also fans who would prefer to see a shortened version. Reason: The series will be very slow at times, due to the 6-episode setting.
Obi-Wan Kenbobi assembled like the movie
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has been a huge hit for Lucasfilm and Disney+. In its first weekend, ratings exploded and the series became the most-streamed show ever on Disney+ in one fell swoop. Reviews of the series are mostly positive and the second season is in high demand.
However, there were also critical voices to be heard: the series would start very slowly due to the six-episode setting. For some, this was a reason to fantasize about what it would be like if Obi-Wan Kenobi was released not as a series, but as a movie. Exactly as Lucasfilm initially intended. The Obi-Wan Kenobi is now born thanks to a fan.

Star Wars fan Kay Patterson probably had a lot of free hours at his disposal and decided to take matters into his own hands. Turn the series into a two-and-a-half hour Obi Wan Kenobi movie. The result can be downloaded for free from their website.
Perhaps he does not want to get into trouble, because he subtly states that he prefers that only Disney + subscribers download the movie. Reasonable, because before you know it, you have a copyright lawsuit pending over your clothing. Especially in the US, just let loose and you’ll be charged. Patterson also wrote that the Star Wars movie should be seen as his personal artistic interpretation of how to make the story better.
I hope he doesn’t get into trouble with his creation. However, he delivered an excellent performance that would only be possible with the love of a true fan and slightly obsessed with Star Wars.
