Four internationals will miss Groningen in the coming period and will be on the road with their country’s national selection. Tomas Suslov has been called up to join Slovakia, Damil Dankerloi has joined the Suriname squad, Ricardo Pepe has joined Team USA, and Luciano Valente is in Italy’s under-20 squad.

Soslov has so far played fourteen international matches with the Slovak national team and is awaiting two matches in the Nations League in the coming period. Today, Suslov will meet with Azerbaijan with his comrades at home, at 8.45 pm. The match against Belarus is scheduled for Sunday 25 September. This match will also be played in Slovakia and will start at 6 PM.
Dunkerloy became a player for his country in 2021 and has played seven international matches so far. An international match against Nicaragua is scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday. Dankerlui does not have to travel halfway around the world, because the game will be played in Almira. On Monday, September 26, Suriname is still training against PEC Zwolle. Spectators are not allowed in that match.
Pepe traveled to Germany where the United States national team met for two friendlies. The United States will train with the United States in Germany against Japan on Friday evening, September 23, at 2.30 pm. Four days later, on Tuesday 27 September, a friendly match against Saudi Arabia is scheduled. That match will end in Murcia, Spain, at 8:00 PM.
Midfielder Valente made his international debut for Italy last year and will play against his Portuguese counterparts on Friday to qualify for the European Championship in Lisbon. After the weekend, a friendly match against Switzerland U-20 is scheduled.
