“Ultrawings 2” has arrived on the PlayStation Store for the PlayStation VR2. While the developers are scratching their heads, the flight simulator is piqued the interest of players.

Owners of the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset cannot complain about the lack of games. Supplies arrive at the PlayStation Store almost weekly.

But not all VR experiences are compelling. The latest example is “Bulletstorm VR”, which is very popular among testers and gamers Due to technical problems It largely failed.

It's best to recommend another new release that has generated excitement on PC and Meta Quest over the past couple of years.

Ultrawings 2 not planned for PlayStation Store

Without much marketing, “Ultrawings 2” was released for the PS VR2 headset this week. In a post on X/Twitter, even responsible developer Bit Planet Games was surprised that the title could be purchased and played.

Dropping Shadow Ultrawings 2 on PSVR2 today wasn't on our 2024 bingo card, but well, here we are.

    – BitPlanet Games (@BitPlanetGames) January 25, 2024

The reason for the early release is unknown – not even to the studio.

Although the publication was not expected, we would like to stress that we do not know what happened. Maybe it was something we did or didn't do right. One tweet said: “We don't know!”

Bit Planet Games says the current version of the game has “some fairly minor issues” that were supposed to be fixed through the day one patch. It is currently being approved and will follow in the coming days.

PlayStation VR2 is getting “Ultrawings 2,” a flying game that supports planes and helicopters.

In the end, the launch of Sony's PS5 accessory flight is no surprise. “Ultrawings 2” should arrive on the PlayStation Store as early as 2023. But it has been delayed for the current year.

In the PlayStation Store, players are very excited. So far, an average of 4.95 out of a possible five stars has been awarded. 95 percent of players chose the higher grade. And at €19.99, it's budget friendly too.

    Earn money and unlock planes

In the virtual reality flight simulator “Ultrawings 2”, players have the opportunity to earn money by completing various missions. With the money they earn, they buy planes, helicopters, and other items in the open game world.

Ultrawings 2 supports day and night flying. Likewise, players will be able to explore “four brand new carefully designed islands.”
