Amazon also announced that the 7-inch Kids Edition of Fire for beginners will cost $ 60, which equates to $ 40 off its list price of $ 100. The Fire Kids edition includes a case and a year of Amazon’s Kids Plus subscription, $ 36.

At $ 100 per tablet alone, Amazon Fire 7 is the most budget-friendly option out of the Amazon Edition tablet lineup. It does a decent job at most tasks and apps, and for only $ 10, the package includes parental controls, a lined tablet case, a two-year warranty, and a one-year subscription to Kids Plus (formerly FreeTime Unlimited), which usually costs 3 Dollars a month and gives you access to a host of kid-friendly content.
