Tom Brady extended his contract with Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 43-year-old NFL star is now with the club with whom he won seven Super Bowl last month through 2022.

Brady wrote on Twitter and Instagram with a picture of the moment he signed his contract: “In search of number eight.” “Pirates, we’ll keep the group together.”

Although the midfielder is the oldest Super Bowl winner ever, his contract extension was not surprising. He has often indicated that he will definitely last until he is 45.

The American, who turned 44 in August, had previously played twenty seasons with the New England Patriots, winning the Super Bowl six times. In March 2020, Brady signed a two-year contract with Bucs. So far at least one more year will be added.

Brady became the best player in the Super Bowl five times

Brady made his debut in 2000 in the NFL, the premier division of American football in the United States. A year later, he made his debut for the New England Patriots, where he defeated the St. Louis Rams.

In 2003, 2004, 2014, 2016 and 2018 and this year he also won the Super Bowl title. Only in 2007, 2011 and 2017 is it lost. Last month, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Kansas City Chiefs (31-9), Brady was voted Super Bowl Player (MVP) for the fifth time.

Brady recently underwent surgery to “clean” his left knee from the inside. The new NFL season begins in September.
