    In this edition of c't uplink, we talk about how to breathe new life into old devices and often find new uses for them. Among other things, we show how you can use your Fire TV Stick with alternative apps, for example to display smart home dashboards. Old mobile phones can also take on new tasks in the basement, garden shed or garage. But we also discuss the limits so that continued operation remains safe.
