As of today, KPN customers have a new channel: W-Sport. This channel broadcasts women's sports throughout the day. W-Sport is the number one sports channel in the Netherlands broadcasting exclusively women's sports.
W-Sport is part of the basic KPN package. You can find the channel on channel 37. Football, motor sports, basketball and volleyball matches can be watched daily. For example, the most important women's soccer competitions are broadcast, including the English Women's Super League (WSL), the German Frauen Bundesliga, the American NWSL, and the Swedish Damallsvenskan.
The German Women's Volleyball League, the Triathlon Premier League and the Netball Premier League from the UK can also be found on the channel. Moreover, you can watch PAC 12 for multiple sports. These are sports such as basketball, gymnastics and American beach volleyball. Additionally, W-Sport broadcasts live events in tennis, athletics, boxing and more.
Since most of the events are live, the channel is only available in English, with no Dutch subtitles. W-Sport has been available in Belgium via Telenet since September last year. The channel aims to be “the world's leading women's sports broadcaster and passionately promote equality and diversity”.
